so the B family went on a mini-vacation...

They may have been tired at their house (really?), so before they left they may have sighed when making plans (thinking of all the work it would be with the little kids).
They may have grumbled when packing for this mini-vacation (they really don't like packing!).
They may have asked each other "are we sure we want to go?" at one point (only one though!).
They may have hrumphed and complained a few times during the drive in the car (there are only so many times one can listen to VeggieTales sing "The wheels on the bus...", at least if you are an adult).

But...

When it came down to it, they were really were excited to take a trip together as a family and do some fun thing with the kids and spend some time with good friends.

So off they went!

They stopped at the zoo...

Splashed at a water park in the hotel...


Spent such an enjoyable evening with friends B&A on their acreage...


Visited old stomping grounds...


And had a wonderful time reconnecting with dear dear friends E&T...


As well as loved friends (and pseudo-parents) M&A...


They had such a good weekend and feel very blessed with the time they spent together as a family and with friends. It was well worth it and was very good for their tired spirits.
