There are dishes on the counter that need to be washed. There are toys on the floor that need to be picked up. There is mail on the table that needs to be dealt with. There is tax paperwork that needs to be filed away. There is a grocery list to be made and meals to be prepared. There are other blog posts that I want to write. There is even a small bit of unpacking left to do after our trip last weekend. But today was not a day to do any of that. It was one of the most beautiful days that we have had yet this spring, so instead...

...making for one tired and happy family.

The dishes will be there tomorrow, as well as the floors to be picked up, the groceries and meals, and the paperwork too. But we are so thankful that we spent our day doing something else instead!
